What I learned from love, so far [I still consider myself young], is this:
if you love someone but cannot make that person understand (if not accept) your points of view and your attitudes concerning the (rest of the) world, than you do not deserve that person. That is true - as far as I am aware of it now - for me.
PS. By the way, if you do not deserve someone it does not mean that... that person is better than you. Not necessarily. That person is not necessarily better. That person is just different. After all, we all want to live a good life. It is just that good means something for me and something else for you...
